Im using tommee tippee bottles with LO, shes been fine so far with them but for the past week while im feeding her the milk has been coming out of the corner of her mouth, while shes sucking, she must waste at least an ounce! Ive even had to stop using bibs on her and put a tea towel round her neck because i was going through 3 bibs and a change of clothes each feed!

Just wanted some advice do u think i should change bottles or possibly a problem latching on?

I had this when I used the tommy tippie bottles and switched to avent and never had a problem xx

Was your lo bf first. I also had this problem and found Millie was struggling, would flow out of one side of her mouth. I have tried lots of bottles and teats and also Dr said he couldnt rule out tongue tie, said it was too small at the moment, I was also told to check her palette as could be high.
Anyway the best bottles I have found are the Mam ones as they have a flattened orthadontic teat and she seems really suited with them, but I use comfort milk so hicker, not sure how fast it would be on normal milk. Other good bottles I found where breastflow and nuk.

Sorry about spelling, feeding lo.

I have the same problem with my boy with the TT bottles, I even make sure the vent is right inline with his nose but it still comes out the side of his mouth, I have been using avent bottles at the same time and he never dribbles with those ones. x

i cant rate the mam bottles enough. I have tt and don't like them as Ive had different problems with the teats. The mam bottles do flow faster than the tt ones though even on a size 1 teat.

oh im having this problem at the moment and i think its causing him to get trapped wind that infacol cant shift because he can be very unsettled at times.

i didnt realise it could be a problem with the bottles, we stocked up on TT because they were fine with our eldest son. i guess we will go get some different ones tomorrow to try out.
