I'm hopeless at cooking and the extent of what I can cook is casseroles, stews and bolognese which LO seems sick of the sight of lol. He loves meat on its own though. So I was thinking of doing him poached chicken breast with veg for tea. Then I thought I could cook double the chicken and keep the rest for him to have on a sandwich the next day.

What's the best way to store it? Was thinking either on a plate covered by foil or in a plastic tub obviously in the fridge. Can anyone help? Xx

Cool it quickly after cooking seal it in a tub and put it in the fridge.
should be ok for tomorrow x

Make sure it's cold before you cover it and then put it in the fridge. In a plastic tub over covered with foilis fine.

Cling film is somtimes better then tin foil, tin foil can often have metal reactions with other stuff in the fridge and leave a bad taste on food amd also cause them to go off quicker.
Like the others say though make sure its cold first to stop condensation.
24 hours in good fridge conditions is fine.
