Dumb question

Some of yall might know that my first language is spanis and this might sound dumb but What is heartburn? How does it feel? Im trying to stay away from google so i thoughth i could ask you girlies instead.

Hey From my experience heartburn feels like a burning sensation at the top of the chest and lower neck. I think it is caused by acid leaking from your stomach up towards your throat xx

I don't really know how to explain it very well. It's like minor pains in your chest after you eat something that has a lot of acid or something. It's a sort of you experience it you know what it is sort of thing.

Definanition : Heartburn, also known as pyrosis or acid indigestion is a burning sensation in the chest, just behind the breastbone or in the epigastrium. The pain often rises in the chest and may radiate to the neck, throat, or angle of the jaw.

Heartburn is usually associated with regurgitation of gastric acid (gastric reflux) being the major symptom of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
