Early BFP - sign of twins?

Hi,

I got a relatively strong positive at 6DPO and I cannot help but think that it might be twins ( I guess the hormone level is doubled with twins so you show on HPT earlier).

Twin mommies, what is your experience? At what DPO did you find out?

Any singleton pregnancies at early DPO?

It's very rare to get a bfp at 6DPO and have it so strong! I'd say twins tbh
I think the earliest I got mine was at 10DPO with all 3 of my pregnancies and it was very faint

I had 9dpo and both single babies. Hmmm could def be twins

I've read more about it and I think I feel confident that earl DPO doesn't really mean twins. It's just that twin mothers usuallu show at early DPO, but not all early dpos mean twins... Oh well!

Oh yeah, definitely will! I got my blood work done yesterday, so will know the results tomorrow that might indicate that it's twins or that's it's not. I doubt I can be so lucky as to have twins!

Ok just got them. I'm 4 week tomorrow according to chart, or today according to last period and the numbers are...

HCG - 573 (range 5 - 426 mIU/ml)
Progesterone - 37.8 (range per doctor's office 4.1-34 for 1st trimester)

So either my dating is wrong or twins...or neither lol
