Early scan tomorrow :-s

Sooo getting a scan tomorrow. I will be 5 weeks. Wasn't meant to get this early scan for another week yet but ive had a bit of pain in the side of my previous ectopic, and some diarhoea. Hcg seems to be rising properly but they wanna scan to make sure. I'm so so nervous! My tummy has been sore all day and keep thinking it feels like my old ectopic but praying its not ectopic again and that the pains are just normal... Anyone been in a similar situation that an bring me some hope??? Xxx

Hi,
Completely understand your anxeity. I'm 5 + 6 today after a miscarriage 3 years ago. We were 6 weeks away from starting an IVF cycle and then a miracle happened!
Something that's helping me with the anxiety is taking one day at a time, literally.
Also try to remember that this is a new pregnancy for you and your partner.
Ive got everything crossed for you.

Thank you. I just can't help imagining the worst! Praying that its good news don't think I could bear bad news again. I just want a healthy pregnancy with a healthy baby at the end of it xxx

It might be a psychosomatic thing. When I used to get AF pains I would start getting codeine side effects before I'd even taken a pain killer. Sometimes if your body only has one experience of something, it can convince you you are/will reexperience it. I'm sure you'll be fine

Congratulations! My first scan was 5 weeks 5 days and in the right place but the lady don't even tell me if it O.k. or another ectopic Super worried but after I talk with my Dr. Everything o.k. I still can't stop worried until I saw baby at 12 weeks scan and little heartbeat. That make me feel so much better.

I'm 7 + 3 today, my scan at the IVF clinic is on 12th December xx
So pleased everything is looking good!
