I had to get dd special pillows for car seat, swing, play mat etc because her head was getting very flat on one side, and unfortunately the pillows push her ears out and now they stick out! (her head is better though!) Can I do anything about this? I saw a couple things for it, like babys bonette, but I don't see it sold here in the US. Has anyone dealt with this? Would a headband or something like that work? I read some people use tape, but I'd be afraid that she would pull it off and put it in her mouth as she is almost 5 months. Any ideas?

:-/ Cant you just sort of 'tuck' her ears in when she is using the pillow? I really dont thinK there is much you can do for sticky out ears (I also donT really see how this can be caused by a pillow tbh.)
My two youngest havE kind of sticky out ears (the top sticks out!) but it would never cross my mind to try to change them... Im sure once your LO stops using the pillow her ears will stop being pushed out and will go back to how they were before.

Could it just be the way that her ears are? Maybe talk to her doctor? I wouldn't think this could happen simply by using the pillow?

Thanks ladies. The pillow has a hole in the center to not put pressure on her head, so when her head sinks into the hole, the outer rim of the pillow push her ears forward. Her right side isn't as bad because she doesn't use the pillow at night and mostly sleeps on her right side and it keeps her ear down, but the left is pretty noticeable! I think it looks fine and its cute, but figure she isn't going to be too happy with me when she gets older and realizes I gave her a pillow that made her ears stick out ha ha! I do try to fix it, but as soon as she moves her head 2 seconds later it's back to the same problem. I have big ears and was always made fun of as a kid so I'm trying not to cause her any unnecessary problems when she is older!
