Hi everyone,

I have started my little one on Dr Brown's bottles because of really bad wind. I have a Tommee Tippee steriliser so I cant get all the bits fitted in. I was thinking of putting the bottles, lids and teats in the steriliser and then having a seperate bowl with milton and sterilise the vents and tubes in that.

Any tips on the best way to do this? How does everyone else sterilise them? I'd be grateful for any tips!

I use a big water jug that has a lid. Use miltons in it. It holds 2 bottles with bits at a time. Your idea sounds fine hun. Not sure if bowl needs some kind of lid. hopefully someone can answer. Love dr browns lol

Hi

Ive got a TT steraliser and what ive done is put the tube thingy in the bits with the bottles and lids but cant fit all lids and then the white ring, nipple and other brown bit in the top section. thats seems to just about fit!!

:hi:
i use dr brown bottles and have a tt steam electric steriliser (not sure if its the same one you mean) but i can fit 3 dr browns in at the one time. i put the bottles and lids in the bottom and then everything else fits in the tray up the top
xx

I used to be able to get 3 DB bottles with all the bits into my avent microwave steriliser. Whatever brand of steriliser you have, the bottles will fit, it's just a case of adjusting the quantity you do at one time!

DB do make their own microwave steriliser if you think that would be easier - I think I saw them in mothercare.

I used Dr Browns with an avent sterliliser and managed to fit 4 bottles and parts in one cycle

xx

Thank you all for the tips! I think I'll do two rounds and sterilise them all at one go. I have to say the bottles are fantastic, my little man seems to feed so much easier from them, with our old bottles I could actually hear him gulping the air in and it going down into his tummy, with these I don't hear that at all. I have also been using Colief Drops with the bottles so hoping for a more settled nights sleep!!x
