Easter and Spring Books for My Little Guys

I am a sucker for beautiful kids' books, so I thought I would share a few books that I have pulled from our library to help focus on Easter and Spring. I'd love to see if anyone has any other good suggestions - classics or special stories from their own childhood or books that their own kids really like at this time of year.

Here is what is in our book basket at the moment:

Honk Honk Goose! Canada Geese Start a Family by April Pulley Sayre
Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter (of course!)
Muncha Muncha Muncha by Candace Fleming
My Friend Rabbit by Eric Rohmann
In My Meadow by Sara Gillingham & Lorena Siminovich

There are lots of others, but these seem to be the most popular stories for Simon at the moment!

What a great idea to have themed books, we have themed baskets etc... at work but I never though about bringingit home.

A fab book over here is the Very Hungry Caterpillar, it is such a classic

Eric Carle is a minor god in my house!
And I didn't even think of putting that one in the basket as we have it out so often already, but you're right! The Spring theme is all about what's waking up and wiggling around in the garden!

I brought mine books for easter but didnt think of a theme. I brought my sons Beaver Towers to read to him at night and I got my daughter the little miss collection.

Books are my kids fave and I buy about 4 a week!
