bought a phone cover from ebay was only 7.99 and they had marked it as dispatched on 7th sept says 3-4 working days i never recieved it but gave them a few extra days before i contacted the seller again, he said i should have received it and would post me another one, as of yesterday i hadnt received that one either, i sent him a message yesterday and ive got no reply, i havent left feedback yet as i wanted to wait till i received it.

Whats the next step? do i just hang about and wait for it?

Contact ebay and let them know, let them know you have also sent a message, if the seller doesn't do anything, they will issue you a refund and then take it back from the seller, or send him one more message to ask if it's definately on its way, then contact ebay?

hi, I had a similar situation a few years back.
I will tell you what I did but what you do is up to you :)

I bought something for about £6 and it never came.
I messaged the person and she said she hadn't had time to send it yet.
So I waited.
Messaged again.
No answer.
I contacted ebay and they said you need to open a dispute but not do feedback until resolved, opened.
No response.
Contacted ebay again and they gave me a phone number.
Spoke to the lady and again she fobbed me off.
Contacted ebay again and they said they wont do anything as it under £15.
So was going to do negative feedback, but by the time all that was done (i think disputes have a 90 day period or something) I could no longer add feedback.
Was not happy...
Am very reluctant to buy anything under £15 now.

This was a few years back so no idea if it has changed, just thought I'd give you my experience.

thanks, i think i will give them one last chance and if no reply today i will message the seller tomorrow and say that i am going to contact ebay and see if that gets the ball rolling.

I would just open a dispute, might get the seller a nudge :)

V xx

We are in away having this at the moment won a coat for kyle, not turned up messged seller, Seller has been responding, Decided to open a dispute as seller was not being helpful.. During the dispute has now acussed us of having the coat and pulling a fast one and saying its out fault its a RISK I as a BUYER take when I dont ask for recorded? So just waiting till tomorrow to let Ebay take it over

They must have changed that now as I've had someone open a dispute against me (even though I posted and had proof of postage because it wasn't recorded delivery there was nothing I could do), it was only for £4 but they won and got the money back :(

well i emailed the seller with no reply, so i opened a dispute and he replied saying he sent a second item recorded delivery, gave me the tracking number and ive just checked it and it says that its been delivered and signed by me, thing is it was delivered on monday but i wasnt it on monday, no one in my house was, its not even my signature! what the hell do i do now, i am furious, i cant seem to find a number for my sorting office, i need to wait it today till at least one so cant go and see them, i am fuming!!

Can you go to a neighbour and see if they have it? OR did the postie still post it through and you've not noticed, check all around your door, my postie once signed something for me and posted it through, fucking lucky he did aswell as it was a £50 voucher for M&S! xx

you need to ring the local sorting office and they will have to deal with it they might want proof of your signiture x

They haven left it with anyone, i am not happy at all

Did you go to/ring the sorting office? Very strange that they have a signature.

i phoned a customer service number they are going to interview the person who delivered it and ask him/her questions about it but tbh i think ive lost the money ive paid as doubt i will get a refund, gutted :(
