hi ladies at my 20 week scan they found an isolated echogenic cardiac focus. I was sent for a level two U/S at 24 weeks and it was the only marker observed. I didn't have any previous testing done. OB said the baby looked good and gave a 1% chance of anything being wrong. I'm still a complete wreck and am now 30 weeks. Any advice pls?

sorry it looks like no one responded but.. your doc is working on old info. it is now considered a normal variant. it is more common in some races, up to 30% in asian babies. both my twins have them. i did an amnio (unrelated, i planned on doing one and the echogenic foci were incidentally found the same day) and all is normal with both of them. if this is the only thing found. id let it go. (easier said than done i know but...)
