My middle boy had a dairy allergy he's two now and outgrown it he was on nutragemin
His symptoms were colic silent reflux mucusy poops really generally miserable

My new baby boy is 6 weeks old so happy content
A bit sickly but no more so than a normal baby poops seem pretty normal
But he has really bad eczema on his cheeks I've tried a few different creams it's stil really red and sore looking
Pharmacist reckons it could be a dairy allergy
Can you only have one symptom tho or would he have others X

His face is so sore and red looking

Awwwww bless him. I didn't want to read and run, I don't have an answer to your question really but my daughter is allergic to cows milk protein, when she was a baby I kept getting told she doesn't have the right symptoms to have an allergy. After 16 weeks they finally gave in and gave me nutramigen. Amazing stuff!! She did only have very small patches of eczema on her arms and constipation, she did scream for 20 hours a day too. Maybe take a trip to the doctor and see what they say. I suppose you could try him on nutramigen to see if it helps clear his skin it won't do him any harm. Hope you get him sorted soon. His cheeks look so sore :( xxx

Maybe it's more of an intolerance than a full on allergy?

I was intolerant as a child and got eczema as a result behind my knees and elbows, but never had any other problems or symptoms. I grew out of it by the time I was 10 and haven't had it since.
