My two year old daughter has eczema and her doctors won't prescribe or treat it because it's a pre existing condition and our insurance won't cover it. I need advice on what to do and how to get it to go away. It seems it's getting worst instead of better. (By worst I mean spreading) (we just got our insurance)

I have eczema and my nearly 4 year old does too its just a tricky one really doctors tend to say "they will likly grow out of it" ive been prescribed all sorts its all about finding the right thing for you. Im better now after steroid cream and seeing the hospital and being told what allergies I have etc.. ours is mainly like parfums in detergent and bath products do everything was changed to plain dermloical things.. my son he has cetraben emollient cream which is working not 100% gone but manageable takes awhile to start working and cetirizine hydrochloride oral solution which is a allergy relief medicine .. usually its due to something irrating the skin best way is finding out what it is as I said I found my son was the same as me with detergents and washing with soaps that have all the chemicals in.

I went several times to doctors but they will just give creams to help the irritation and to advise not to scratch if its severe enough they will refer to a dermatologist to have tests done to see if its milk, pet fur and lots more common things

Both of my kids have eczema that comes and goes. With my eldest I use Spectro eczema cream for kids and that seems to do the trick. My youngest one's eczema is more stubborn though and I use Aveeno baby eczema lotion and Aveeno unscented eczema bath & body wash for him. I also have to use a hydrocortizone cream on his from time to time when it flares up (my doctor told me .5%). They won't really do anything else as he's so young and we are keeping it under control most of the time.

Thomas had discoid eczema for about a year, no creams helped. I tried extra virgin coconut oil (the kind that still smells and tastes coconut-y) and it was amazing. Hasn't had any problems with his skin for months.

It also healed Sophie's persistant bleeding nappy rash in the last few days.

It couldn't hurt to try some.

Come to find out it wasn't eczema at all. It was Slapped Cheek Syndrome. It just looks and feels like eczema.

I have an eczema and was cured in weeks through the ikure skincare cream. it was just lately that i've got the cream from my aunt who is a cosmetic surgeon, she said its proven to have cured skin infections as she said.

My son has eczema he is 4m old and dont want to use steroids. Have tried all the aveeno eczema products but they are not helping. What is helping is organic coconut oil, putting some in the bath and then spreading it all over his body when his skin is still a bit damp.
