Ejaculation few hrs before BD? :(

I got my LH surge this morning and DH and I got down to BD in the afternoon. He unfortunately slipped out just before ejaculating. This has never happened before. Anyway, we plan to BD again in about 4 hours. He has good sperm count but very low motility. Is it a lost cause this cycle?
We have been trying for 18 months, 1 miscarriage, 3 failed IUIs... this was almost like a cruel joke by fate.

Don't give up hope. All you can do is try and keep the faith, but if you give up then you're got 0 chance, at least if you try there is a chance. Fingers crossed for you, good luck

The surge happens 12-36 hours b4 egg release, and the egg can linger 24 hours, I would waste a bd in 4 hours, it'll be all immatured sperm, I would bd in about 24 hours. It'll either be just before or just after egg release
