Hi ladies.

Had my elcs at 10 yesterday. The whole process was so different to my emcs and I feel a hundred times better. I had been so nervous about what to expect but it all went very smoothly. Thanks for all your advice in the build up. My dd2 was 7lb 1 at 36+4 and is happy and healthy having a good go at bf already.

Congratulations, and glad to hear everything went smoothly. Speedy recovery!

Congratulations! EMCS is terrifying and difficult to get over..:hugs: I'm so glad your elective section was a much better experience! :flower::hugs::hugs:

Congratulations on ur little girl!! Glad to hear all went well.
Im feeling very nervous about having a section due to baby being breech so its nice to hear yours went well

I had a brilliant elective experience. Very calm and as it was a Friday and I was the first op of the day the nurses etc were really jolly and fun. Way, way different to my experience with an emergency c section

Congratulations!!! Glad all's net well and hope you get home soon x

Congrats.
I found the same.
I had an emcs with ds1 at 36+4 and it was all very rushed and I lost a lot of blood
but this time I had an elative oneat39 weeks (21st) and it was so much more relaxed. Even had banter with the all the people involved. The recovery is so much better also. didn't lose much blood this time. Although my blood pressure went really low 87/47 I think they said it was.
