electric or manual pump?

I say electric, you can read or something when you are pumping, but I've never used a manual. I figure, why make more work for yourself?
But...(drum roll)....You gotta do whats right for you.
You could probably rent an electric to try it out. Mines rented, and its pretty affordable. Ask your pharmacist.

ELECTRIC. I wasted my money on a manual and electric dual one and it was worthless. I would rent one straight from the hospital.

Ive got a manual tommee tippee one, i have no experience as this is my first baby but electric ones seemed so expensive and this one was on sale for £12.50 so though id try it as i wouldnt really be losing out on tht much if i dont get on with it. and can always buy an electric one if needed xxx

I would go for an electric. They cost bit mroe (although I got mine when Boots were doing a 25% off offer) but they are quicker and easier in my experience.

I have a manual one as my nipples are VERY sore and it allows me to have some sort of control over the intensity of the suction.

Electric ive always used manual until ethan and the electric was heaven compared i got so much more out lots faster

I've got a manual Avent one and it's easy and fine. Can do it one-handed and it's not at all uncomfortable. I also get a good yield from it. I got mine from my sister but I wouldn't have splashed out on an electric one.

I have a manual tommee tippee one - and it is fine for me, but I only express about once a day.
I have heard good things about the medula electric pump - If i decide to express more then I may buy an electric one if I can get it on offer!

I had no idea they can be rented. How much does it costs to rent?
