Sorry, for all the posts but as names come up I'm asking questions! The next one we are musing is Elliott (lots of spelling variations). I love the name but DH is worried what it might be shortened to - any suggestions apart from Elli?

The only other thing I can think that it could be shortened to is Li/Lee?

Elliott is top of our boys list at the moment, tho with no nickname planned, he will simply be Elliott

Love the name Elliott but unfortunately my husband isn't keen. Not sure it needs a nickname, never heard it shortened before. x

My first thought is it would be shortened to "Eli". I only know of one Elliot and she's a girl - I don't think they shorten it to anything.

I like Elliott, and I also think of Eli as a nickname.
