My first baby was over 9lb, ventouse and forcep delivery and I had an episiotomy. After his birth I wasn't 'quite right'. At first I suffered minor bowel incontinence, but after six months it seemed much better.
Then I started to struggle to use the toilet at all. It takes me well over an hour to go as it's like I can't get it all out in one go or without much straining, despite not being constipated (so sorry for the tmi!!).
When I fell pregnant with my second child, it got much worse, as now I had haemorrhoids too. I saw three different doctors, and they all told me it was pregnancy related and the weight of the baby on my bowel, despite me first going at 12 weeks and telling them I'd suffered before my second pregnancy.
Now I'm over three months past my second birth and surprise surprise, nothing has improved.
My downstairs area is a train wreck. I still have bad haemorrhoids but also my vagina looks like it gapes open (my apologies again!).
I think I have a prolapse, but no one will even examine me when I go! I'm so embarrassed and miserable, what do I do?
