I had a cesarean section 5 months ago. It was an emergency after bubs was back to back with the chord around his neck and not dilated far enough after 12 hours.
I've had a lot of trouble with it since, it's given a lot of pain every day, and about a month ago I fell straight onto it and the pain became horrible, after a week I went to a&e where they said it was muscle strain and slight damage and to rest it off with morphine and codydramol. I was also bleeding every day very lightly, not even enough to cover a small pantyliner, for 3 weeks during this.
I've been on the pill since about 7 weeks pp, and about 3 months ago I forgot one day and we only used extra contraception for 3 of the 7 days it was supposed to be because we got the advice mixed up/ we took a test last month and it was negative, before the fall and the light bleeding. However, yesterday (26 hours ago) during intercourse the pain became so bad we had to stop and I was crying out in agony, I couldn't move. It originated from my cervix, went through to my c section scar and then up around my abdomen/slightly into my tummy. It felt like early contractions (say 3-4cm dilated) at the cervic, only constant and the rest was like a stretching stabbing. I had to take ipobrufen and codeine and try to sleep, eventually i was able to but all day again today ive been in bad pain, not as much but bad enough to make me stop a few times and constant, sometimes dying off. Earlier today I then started to feel what I can only describe as movements. You know when your baby runs his foot or arm across your tummy? like that. and some flutterings. I've felt them quite a few times today and I just suddenly knew that I was pregnant, ive no doubt - but i've taken 2 tesco pregnancy tests and both were strong negative, so of course my partner doesnt believe me, but if it is so why can i feel the movement and whats all this pain.
Does anyone have any ideas? the pain has eased slightly with codeine but still is uncomfortable and painful to move a lot. I think i may go to a and e to get it checked

havnt really got any advice just read your post out of curiousity...will you keep us posted and hope your feeling better :flower:

I think if you far enough along to feel movement you would be getting a BFP. Maybe it is trapped gas or irritable bowel caused by adhesions from c-section scar?
Either way you should see your doctor.
Good luck

I would see your doc, i think its quite common to feel "movements" after you have had your baby, i know i did but we hadnt DTD so i knew i wasnt preg and i remember reading a thread where lots of people still felt like they could feel movements after baby was born.

You shouldnt be in that kind of pain after 5 months though so definitely go get checked out x
