Emily or Sophia?

Emily Louise vs Sophia Belle/Noelle/Louise?

Sorry we are not sure aboit a middle name pairing with Sophia yet

I like Emily because imo it is more simple and easier to spell, of course I love it too. Sophia has more different spellings. We do love both, just curious what your opinions are. (Grew up with a rare name and people always have trouble with it because it is so unheard of).

I prefer Sophia. Never been a fan of Emily, not sure why. Noelle is my favourite middle name.

Sophia Belle & Sophia Noelle are both gorgeous names! Emily is pretty too! Emily Noelle is nicer than Emily Louise, in my opinion.

I actually have known zero Emilys or Sophias. Could someone share with me which charachteristics people think of when these names are mentioned?

I'd go with Sophia, just purely as I have two cousins. One called Emily and one called Sophia and I've always preferred her more, not that I have anything against Emily. My downside to Sophia is Sofia the first TV show, not sure if that would be a problem as kids might start calling her a princess.

For personalities Emily is my geeky cousin and likes anime, draws well, good student etc. Emma's were more common when I was at school, some popular, some not so.

Sophia on the other hand is very loud, very caring of her kids, enjoys having fun and rather over the top at times.

Sophia is a copy of her mum, where Emily is a mix of her dad and brothers. So I think it has a lot to do with nurture.

Noelle isn't a name I'd personally pick but would choose Emily over Sophia.

I've never met a Sophia or an Emily. I have a Sophie though and so Sophia reminds me of her name. Sophie is affectionate, kind, intelligent and really cool . She's very easy-going and fun.

Based on first names alone I'd go with Sophia. However, I think Emily Noelle sounds better. Hope that clears up the confusion

It sounds like both Emily and Sophia are equally nice. Sophia sounds more Like an extrovert and Emily like more of an introvert.

Based on your original pairings I'd pick Sophia Noelle. I really love Noelle though as it's my daughter's middle name too!
