Hi everyone!
Does anyone know if acupuncture OR any other alt therapies are any good when treating Endometriosis?
I was diagnosed around 4 years ago and been haven't had much help from the docs. I am in agony with it ever month and am finding it hard to conceive. Been to and fro from the doctors for about 6 years and all they give me medication for pain!. The doctors did send me for a scan and everything seemed fine but they found cysts on my ovary but hormones level were fine.
I need to find something to help and I am interested in going down the therapy route. Has anyone got any good advice? Thank u!

Sorry that your suffering with the pain. Im quite good with the pain but my endo is aggressive and severe. I havnt been able to find anything. However, if its to control the pain. Ive girls go on an endo diet. And that seems to help.

Hi ya

I have really severe pain with my periods due to endo. Unfortunately I haven't found an alternative therapy that helps my pain as yet - I've tried homeopathy, acupuncture and the endo diet.

But I know those things do help some people, so I guess everyone is different and all you can do is try and see what works for you.

The endo diet is really successful for some women - it basically involves cutting out wheat, dairy, red meat, sugars, alcohol and caffeine. And eating lots of fruit, veg, nuts, seeds, beans etc. There is also a recipe book you can buy with lots of ideas in it which is quite good.

xx
