Enfamil A.R. formula (for reflux)

Anyone used it? Did it work? Any advice?

My LO is currently breastfed but I'm introducing a bottle for one feed a day at this stage and the dr gave me this to try.

We used it for 2 days. I'll be honest - for us it was rubbish. It made no difference to Ethan he was still throwing up everywhere and it's horrible to mix, it goes all clumpy and lumps were stuck in the teat so he couldn't get any out, which made him really frustrated. Maybe we had a bad batch or something but we gave up with it and went back to his normal milk powder. As he got older he grew out of reflux. I know this is probably not the greatest news but maybe it will work better for you, I'm sure that other people must have had success with it or they wouldn't prescribe it xxx

From my googling, your experience is common. The doctor gave it to me for free and said that it was worth a go but it isn't popular. Think I'll just give it a miss.
