Engorged boobs 4 days after birth but can't clear, tips?

My breasts are so hard and full right now it hurts. I've been pumping every 3 hours as my girls are in the NICU and I'm not sure what else to do? Tips anyone?

try to massage the breast where its hard while pumping i find it helps alot.

Sometimes you have to have to pump in different positions. so sitting leaning forward, lying on your side of putting pressure on the hard bits while using the pump. It will settle when your body gets a better routine x

Thanks ladies, I took some Tylenol for te pain and massaged while pumping. Also pumped every 3 hours and my milk is now fully in. Thanks again!

well, you are making milk for TWO babies so they will be more full. Keep pumping though and do NOT supplement!
