Episiotomy with first, 22 months ago

My son is 22 months and I am due with my second early Nov. My first birth I had no pain medication and gave birth in a birthing center by a midwife. DS was in distress or so they thought, they kept losing his HB so they wanted to get baby out fast so they gave me an Episiotomy. Will I most likely end up with one again? Thanks

Probably not hun, that seems like it was just unique to that delivery. Hopefully this time baby won't go into distress and it can be a more paced birth.

My mum had one with her 1st birth and not with her other two.

I had one with my first and didn't even tear with my second.
