Excited about my homebirth!

My mw today told me the local birth centre will definately not allow me to labour there due to my controlled gd. I expected this to be honest and it only makes me more determined to stay at home with my doula.

What things do I need at home? I am hiring a pool - probably a filtered and heated one so as to prevent last minute faff.

Straws are a fav one. Good for unusual drinking positions! Snacks and drinks with energy content maybe. You could make an endless list but ultimately you have everything you need within you
