Excited TTC baby #1

Just finished my first bleed since coming off of Cilest.

Excitement is taking over in our home, Michael has found himself looking at baby-grows in the supermarket and I'm thinking about how we're going to announce the news when it comes. I know we shouldn't get our hopes up that it'll happen straight away, but we are all about positive thinking and mindfulness; and believe without that mindset, it is less likely to happen.

TMI, but I am a yogi, and after we have sex by OH tells me to do a shoulder stand (inversion with elevated legs!) so that gravity can do it's job, then repeatedly asks "Are you pregnant yet?" haha makes me giggle! :-D

All this excitement is infectious. This could be our month for us all to get a BFP. I'm on CD12 so testing at the end of the month. Due to O any day now so trying to BD as much as possible. FXd and baby dust to you all x

I'm on CD17, got a BFN on my OPK this morning so we know the big time is over so I'm running in to the TWW head on with a big smile on my face!

Hey NK I also got a negative this morning. With it being my first month of using opk I wasn't sure how dark the line would get but it was non existent today - just hope we got lucky x

Ditto, it was REALLY strong yesterday and today It's gone!!!!! wasn't expecting it to be that obvious TBH with it being my first month too! I was expecting it to fade in and then fade out but apparently not! lol x

I'm not too sure what all of the capital letters stand for! According to the app I have been using to track my periods for about six months, I am due to Ovulate today/tomorrow. Partner is ill but still trying we have been having sex every other day. I believe in positive thinking too. I think it is important to live your life now as you would if you were pregnant already too. Clean eating and exercise for sure.

P.S, I am having some feelings low down, I think it is Ovulation. Not sure. It's crazy to think a fertilized egg could be attaching itself to my womb right now! :')

If you are due to ovulate today or yesterday, then implantation won't be for about another week unfortunately. But it is still exciting. Love the shoulder stand! I do yoga too I completely agree with you about positivity and clean eating as well.

I've quickly looked back over the last few posts & translated some of the abbreviations for you, hope this helps!

CD17 - cycle day 17
BFN - big fat negative
OPK - ovulation prediction kit
TWW - two week wait
TBH - to be honest

Also on my TWW!!! its killing me.. and im also feeling something down low.. lol maybe its in my head, I know it takes like 7-8days to implant? maybe im feeling it work its way down? Not sure. but im with you girlie!!

Hi ladies,

How are we getting on? I'm CD20 today and having some funny twinges down below, I've convinced myself it's Aunt Flow preparing for a visit.

Positive thinking, just gotta say focused! My friend told me she's fallen this month. I'm elated for her but at the same time I'm sad it's not me. Not yet
