I'm curious about the consensus on exercise while TTC as I've been getting advice full of mixed messages. I am a runner but by no means an intense runner. Typically, I run about 7km once or twice a week, but some advice from some has been to cool it down and maybe just go for walks or do yoga. I've known lots of people who run and get pregnant but for someone like me who has been trying for about a year and half, could it be a factor in TTC?

I'd say keep it down after O: walking, Yoga, swimming type of exercise is preferred. Again this is more like precaution. I am sure there are millions of women who run marathons and still get pregnant but I would not want to risk it.

general rule is to consider yourself pregnant after O and do not do anything a pregnant woman would not. It's very tough, I feel like I've been pregnant for 3.5 years now but the last thing you want is to lose pregnancy because you are not careful.

read Zita West books, she is very strict e.g. no sex after egg transfer in IVF and definitely no exercise.
