Hi everyone...
I'm currently TTC # 1and I've got a question concerning exercise.. I've posted this in the TTC forum and TTC #1 forum as well.....

What cardio exercises are safe for TTC? I'm not looking to run a marathon or body build... Just lose a few pounds and be overall healthy...my biggest fear is over doing it while in my fertile period and screwing up ovulation or over doing it in the TWW and having a MC...any suggestions or ideas?

Any exercise you do is beneficial, seriously, as long as you don't go really crazy and work out several hours a day or something silly like that, it is not going to hinder your chances of getting pregnant, or staying pregnant in the tww. Just be sensible. Half hour to an hour of running, swimming, cycling, weight lifting, zumba -whatever exercise you want to do for 3 or 4 days of the week. Do have rest days to recover. Good nutrition is more important than exercise if you want to lose weight. Your weight is 70% nutrition and only 30% exercise. And most exercises are safe to do while pregnant as well, the only ones you shouldn't do are things like contact sports, skiing, horse riding etc, or anything leaving you breathless.

I was doing running, boxercise and weight lifting when I got pregnant, but switched to aqua aerobics and walking when I started to get bigger.
Best of luck to you!
