Hi everyone,

Following 10 days of thrush, cracked nipples and crying at every feed - I've decided to express my breast milk and may start to introduce formula. I've bought aptamil for the timebeing but noticed there was Hipp organic formula on the shelves, as well as goatsmilk formula.

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience of the Hipp Organic or Goats milk formula?

Much obliged.

i use hipp organic as its ment to be closwet to breastmilk and i like the fact its organic and its been fab for us

i dont know about a goast milk formula but i didnt think babs could have that or soya xx

I use Hipp organic. As PP said, its meant to be closest to breast milk and it being organic is a plus.
We've not had any problems with it. LO has taken to it very well and seems quite content on it.

Yep we use Hipp, lo seems well on it, touch wood! I don't know about the goats milk, can't say i've even seen it for sale before! x

I used Hipp before and it would be great apart from the fact that Lexi has reflux and used to throw it up a lot. She was much better with Aptamil. I think Hipp is thinner, but Aptamil gave her constipations... You can't win, lol... No idea about goats milk formula. Normal formulas are based on cow's milk but goat's milk could be easier to digest; however, it really depends on the specifications of that formula, so it is difficult to say.

Thanks for all your responses girls. Am managing to exclusively express at the moment but if I can't keep up with demand I'm definitely gonna try the hipp organic.
