Hey gals! Just popping over from first tri--I ordered 2 pairs of Gap pants (jeans and corduroys) during their sale last week. I ordered in my pre-preg size and they came seeming a bit large. I think that it might be helpful to have them a little larger (in the bum and hips) so I can "grow" into them, but wondered if anyone had experiences with their jeans stretching out any? Wasn't sure if I should keep them or return for a smaller size.

Thanks!!

I have a pair of Gap maternity jeans in my pre-pregnancy size. They were big at first but still wearable. As I got bigger I was glad to have a little room to grow into. Now that I am near the end some of my other maternity pants are a little too snug and the Gap jeans are my most comfortable pair.

They seem to run really big, esp if you don't carry much weight on your hips and bum. I'm usually a 4 at Gap, but got 2s in the maternity jeans/pants. At 19 wks I am wishing I had some 0s, but might appreciate the room later. I wonder if they do this to the sizing intentionally to cheer us all up when feeling large?

I thought the exact same thing! I'm a pre-preg size 4 also and I just ordered some 2's to check on the sizing. Although with what the previous person said, I might want to keep the 4's if I gain a bunch of weight in my hips/bum.

They're really big in my experience! I ordered my usual size, over the bump jeans. The bump band kept falling down until I was well into third tri. They were always really baggy at the bum.
