Experienced Doppler users need!

It sounds like you got the actual heartbeat. The whoosh sound that's easier to find is the blood pumping through the umbilical cord. The galloping you hear I believe means you're right over the heart. I'm no expert and I have no idea what twins would sound like, but I have used my Doppler for both of my pregnancies. I get excited when I get the galloping sound

I know I found the heartbeat but its in two places?!?! They're both really strong

I sometimes get the same on mine, what sounds like heartbeat in two places. Not worked out what it is but I've had three scans so am not having twins haha!

I can hear babys heartbeat from multiple places most of the time. But who knows! It could be! Have you had an ultrasound yet??

Have you not had a scan yet? Have you had an ob appointment yet to check for hb on Doppler? It's curious. It sounds like a hb in 2 very different places. Could be placenta and baby. I'm so curious to see how it turns out for you! When will you get a scan or dr appointment to know for sure?

I got baby's hb in different locations too and it was just one baby. Usually, I'd get it on the right and then when I'd move to probe over to the left, I'd get it there too.

When they used the doppler at the doc, she only listened to the heartbeat for a few seconds then put it up but said.it sounded active in there lol I have my NT/dating scan Monday so we'll know then!

Aww, yay I'm always a little relieved when they see just 1 baby. I mean, Id love twins, but that's kind of overwhelming too! lol

It's so strange you found it in two different places, just goes to show how neat pregnancy is! So much going on in there, it's amazing!

That's a decent reading may be baby moving or just the General magic of doppler(very normal to hear the HB in multiple places) or it could be Twins!
