Hi everyone, so today and yesterday my expressed volume has been almost 2/3 lower than usual?!

My DD is 6 weeks and we've been EBF from about 4 days. We use an Ameda lactaline personal electric pump and I pump whilst she is feeding from the other side for at least 20 minutes.

The output has changed on both sides and nothing else in my diet or lifestyle/routine has changed.

LO and myself are being treated for thrush with Daktarin, but this has been in use for almost two weeks, so I don't think this could be the reason.

Can anyone suggest anything?

This happened to me around 6/8 weeks too. I was told that your milk supply naturally sort of "balances out" at this time so you make just enough for what your baby needs. Could be that?

Your supply is probably starting to regulate, totally normal.

This happened to me as soon as my breasts started to go softer. I think it was my body regulating to my baby's needs rather than just continually producing milk (I was engorged until my baby was about 8-9 weeks old). I'm glad I got a good stash before this happened because now I'm lucky if I can pump 2 oz a day, whereas I used to be able to pump 5 oz off of one breast in one sitting!
