expressing question...

I want to try doing my expressing during my early morning feed, to save me sitting for half an hour every day losing valuable me time!

But i'm a bit confused about sterilizing. Is it ok to clean the pump bottle etc, tonight, and then take up the clean pump to my nursery last thing at night, in order to then use it around 6am? WIll it still be clean? or should i pop it in a freezer bag to keep it cleaner?

just don't think i can bear having to resterilize that early in the morning, as i'm normally half asleep!

I switch the steriliser on last thing at night for my early morning pump. I used to get up and flick it on when she was tiny but as time went by I just fill it and do it last thing.

At my baby's age now I could do what you describe but at the age your baby is now I would feel happier using it straight from the steriliser (if it was me!)

Just pop it at the back of the fridge, you only need to sterilise pump parts once a day as long as you store them in fridge between pumps.

i have a cold water steriliser so I was just going to bring that up to the bedroom and used it as and when. Soo exicited to try expressing, is that daft? Mind you I dont think I have to express, it just sort of hoses out of me like a fountain. Just a matter of collecting it up
