I was just wondering how much people would get in one sitting when they express? I really cocked up and introduced the bottle too soon and now she wont wont take from the breast but i'm trying to express so she still gets some breast milk but i dont get much now

It varies with me. At the moment I´m expressing in the morning and evening and can usually get between 80 - 100ml from both breasts (together). I´m trying to express at lunch time as well and managed to get 60ml today.

on a good day i get 3oz from both sides, maybe a touch more!
On a bad day- struggle to get 1oz!!!
Im still trying to understand the whole thing

I've just had a go now and got 1 oz altogether the thing is when I squeeze them I get more milk but cant get it out with the pump. I think when I express I only get the foremilk. Does anyone else get this?

If you can still squeeze more our by hand then you likely arn't getting the pump latched properly, some pumps work better for other people too...

It is like the baby, unless it is latched correctly you wont get the milk out properly.
