Hello fellow mommies!

I haven't had my darling Marley just yet..but the way my boobs have been leaking, seems he should be here already! I swear! I wake up at night to find my night shirt just soaked.. and I don't mean two little wet spots around my nipples, I mean SOAKED :dohh: then when I sit up they just leak, and in the morning when I'm up sitting with my dad having my morning cup of coffee or eating, ect my boobs just leak (it's not constant, but I don't notice it until someone else does or I feel half my shirt wet!). I'm not over exaggerating either, I really get soaked :( at night when I'm getting changed into my sleep clothes and I take my bra off, you can tell I've been leaking all day, (and it's usually still wet too!) it's like I should already be breast feeding! And my boobs haven't even gotten much bigger, at all! They do feel a more full feeling though.. and It gets worse when I'm around young children or babies! which is most days  I should start wearing breast pads with the amount im leaking already... I've even dared to squeeze one of my boobies one time and it just shot right out like a lightning bolt onto the mirror  (sorry if tmi) So is this a good sign that I will produce good amounts of Breast milk? or is it irrelevant? or am I just strange!!??? They've been doing this since 15 weeks...

I am planning on Breast feeding, by the way, so if this means I'll produce mass amounts of breast milk, then GOOD! :laugh2: anyone else experience this while pregnant who is breast feeding? and how well are you producing?

Thank you ladies, and sorry if this is strange... :hugs:

Lol I leaked like that with my 2nd son but not with my other 2. It really didn't make a diff in the amount of milk I produced but I did have plenty with all, he nursed until 11mo.

I didn't really leak that much when I was pregnant. I have read that the amount that you leak bears no relevance on the amount of milk you produce when breastfeeding. Sounds like you aren't going to have any problems with supply though!

Yes, I would get some breast pads and start wearing them now to save any embarrassment and tosave ruining your clothes!

Good luck with your baby. x

i was like that!! from about 16weeks it was insane! its a pain but theres not alot you can do just get some pads cause boobie milk can stain!

good luck x

I didnt leak either but I suppose it cant be a bad thing! Sound like your let down is working nicely already!

aahhh thank you ladies! :hugs: i had no idea boobie milk could stain!!

I leaked when pregnant, but have not leaked since. And I make plenty of milk, as Brenn is still pretty much BFing full time. We are now having a baby yogurt for breakfast, which he loves and some lunch as well.

It is colostrum that you are making, and it does have a slight color to it. Milk, does not, so it won't stain.

I was leaky too. Get yourself some good breastpads, like the tommee tippee ones or johnson and johnson ones. I find those very absorbent. It's horrible to be wet all the time. And change them regularly because you don't want mastitus.

Tescos ones were awful, lol. On the plus side, I found breast feeding ok, even though my baby was in the neonatal unit and they didn't think I would be able to exclusively breastfeed. They were wrong :D

hun why dont u wear breastpads, that will stop it leaking in your shirt ,and just wear a nursing bra or no underwire bra to bed so that pads have a place to stay put and you are comfy. I leaked too, but at a later stage than u.

I had this!! :shy: Wear breat pads to save ur clothes!! I find boots ones the best!! If this continues y not start expressing milk and freezing it (can be kept for up 2 3months) and start building up ur stores!! x
