Does anyone have really light and short periods?
We can't find a reason for our infertility and it's really starting to get to me that this could be something, google is not helping but all the fertility consultants we've seen don't think it's a problem but just me.

Before going on the pill I had 'normal' 4-5 day period but since coming off it to TTC they've been complete opposite, 2 days and so light I could get away with a panty liner after about 12 hours, I know my lining is fine because I've had plenty of scans and this was my first fear but nope that's all normal.

Not that I'm aware, I'm not sure how they check but I've had a hysteroscopy and I imagine that would have picked it up?

I'm in the same boat, my period's are generally lighter than the "normal" I used to have full period's as well!

I've had HSG & Hysterscopy my tube's were open, and inside of my uterus looked good, they just removed this little growth from my lining that they thought was a polyp but other than said it was all good in there.

The only way to for sure know if you have endometriosis is a LAP
but my doc's refused me one even though they believe I have it
because it can cause additional scarring which they don't want in my
case because I have lots of scarring from 3 surgery's in my past!

I have always had short, light periods and when I was TTC I worried that it was the cause of my IF. Most of the time it lasts about 2 days with medium heavy flow on the first day and pretty light flow on the second. I thought there might be a problem with my lining but it was perfect.

I did have a lap and I didn't have endo. I had a hysteroscopy which found a polyp and that was removed, and my cycle did not change afterward.

A short light period can be a sign of hyperthyroidism or anovulation...or it could just be normal.

Calidreaming, I haven't had a lap but I HSG and I had polyp removed also, my period became a regular flow the first cycle but second went back to like before. Well see how this one goes. I wonder if it grew back!
