Hi ladies,
I haven't been on here in YEARS, but here we are again. Back in 2010, my husband and I went through infertility without any luck, then in Feb 2012 got pregnant with DD. Now, here we are again, with issues. My Doctor had put me on 50 MG Clomid on days 3-7 and AF just showed her nasty face last night :( I am becoming discouraged as my husbands new insurance does not cover infertility or clomid. :( I need suggestions on what to do from here! Thanks mamas!

I was on climid a couple times. I O on my own but we took it hoping to get additional follies. I only get 1 follie on climid so I changed to injections. You can try injections but be careful. On an average dose of injections I end up with like 17 follies.

I'm nervous about my appointment tomorrow because I don't feel like the Clomid worked for me either. I finished my first round about 10 days ago and I took a pregnancy test because I thought I had symptoms like sore breasts and all of sudden my allergies were in overdrive(something that doesn't happen ever!! But I heard that some people get allergies like that before they become pregnant)., extreme exhaustion...but the test was negative. The doctor said that we might be trying injections and that he is certain that it will work...my insurance covers half or more.

But I've heard that people will do 3-6 rounds of Clomid before giving up(better chances and such).

I don't know if this helps...I'm pretty much in the same boat, but ttc my first.

Were you being monitored at all? To make sure the clomid wasn't thinning your lining and see how many follies you were producing?

Do you track your fertility signs/chart or use OPK's and do you know if you ovulated or not?

50mg is a very conservative dose. You may need a higher dose to get a response if your ovaries are sluggish. On the flip side of that, if may be effecting your lining so even if you were able to conceive implantation into a thinned lining was impossible (in that situation switching to femara might be a better option for you).

If you're willing to share, more information would be very helpful :flower:

I was on 100mg for 10 days with nothing. Now the doctor put me on femara, which I'm on the 3rd day of it now. We start trying on Monday again...wish me luck.

Wishing you good luck and lots of BD! I am starting Provera today for the first time, followed by 50mg Clomid on days 5-9.

My DH and I have been TTC for a year, in which I only ovulated twice. My cycles range from 20-67 days, but all of my hormone levels, glucose, etc. are completely normal. My doctor thinks that once my ovulation is regulated, we should have success and that because my levels are good, I shouldn't have to worry. But I am full of doubt.

So, here's hoping this works for all of us!
