Faint faint faint, then darker but not pos, now no line??

Hey, so today is cd 14 and my opk at noon showed a dark line, but not as dark or darker than the test line. So I m tested again at 6 pm to see if the line got darker and there was no test line at all! 6 hours later! And every test up until today was a faint faint test line. Is it possible I kissed the surge overnight or maybe the test line that seemed dark actually didn't mean anything. So confused

It's possible to miss the surge, but this happens to me then a day or so passes and then it turns dark again and I get my surge. Is this your first cycle using opks? I typically O between CD12 and CD16, but last month Oed CD 11 and this cycle CD18 so sometimes things just get delayed. Did you experience any stress or cold/illness in the last few days?

Yes this is my first time using opks, it's also my first real cycle after going off the pill (took 3 mos to get my period) . No flu symptoms but have been a little stressed and have had a little low back pain and a couple unilateral twinges here and there but no ewcm

So it's possibly you might O closer to CD 16. I used to think I Oed CD 14 because I had a textbook 28 day cycle up until I was about 24. Then I started telling and realized my lp is 12 days and I was Oing CD 16 haha. Hang in there and keep bding/testing!
