Fainted at 1 hour glucose test.. anyone else done this?

Well, I knew that the drink would probably make me feel sick... but not faint! I've always had a problem tolerating high levels of sugar. 15 minutes after I had the drink I began to get dizzy and called out for the nurse. By the time she helped me to the table I fainted. My blood pressure completely plumetted... The nurse said its probably the opposite of gestational diabetes, which I'm guessing is hypoglocymia? Any of you ladies ever expereinced anything similar? If so what did it mean for your pregnancy. Thanks!

No but I did have a fast heart rate and felt a bit panicky. I was sure it was going to come back with bad results, but nope, was fine! I'm sure I get what you get though! No problems pregnancy wise

Were you fasting for the test? And could that have caused it? I was fasting and was soooo hungry other than that I have no advice

No fasting, I just couldn't have any carbs before.

Hypoglycemia wouldn't come on within 15 minutes. It takes awhile for your blood to spike, then insulin over response to cause the drop.
