Falling asleep...

Well Ryan goes to bed around 9-10pm ish, and he has a feed usually before if he's not already asleep.
He then wakes around 1am for the next feed or bum change...that goes fine all done and dusted and he goes back in the moses basket.

His next feed is usually around 5am ish sometime and by then i'm exhausted...and i usually fall asleep when he's on the boob..so i usually end up putting him on my bed to sleep with a pillow in between

How can i stop myself drifting..even if i'm sat up i drift!!

I fall to sleep all the time feeding and especially when she was going to bed later and waking more. Do you bring him in the bed? I just brought her into the bed with me and went back to sleep - so long as you take the recommended precautions, then co-sleep for that feed and get some Zzzzzzzzzz!

lol i used to love falling asleep during feeds!! have you tried feeding lying down? OH used to always wake up and find me on my side with katie attached to my boobies!!

I lay down with him and cuddle into me, since im laying down i fall asleep alot. for this reason ive now pulled his cot up next to my bed and took one side off. So hes sorta in my bed but not

I did similar - started with the moses pulled up to the bed like most people do then moved her to a crib and pulled that right against the bed and when she woke, I got her out and fed her on that side so that the crib acted as a safety rail so she couldnt fall out of bed.
