Families can be really supportive :)

I thought I'd post my story in case any of you needed some "hope" or something about your family's reaction...

My parents are renovating their basement (I live there now) into a mini apartment I guess, I'm not getting my own bathroom but I'll have a living room and a bedroom/nursery, and my own fridge in the back room of my basement. The kitchen and bathroom are close enough though within the house. I can't wait to pick out paint colours and stuff and move my furniture around and buy new furniture I'll be able to take to my house when I finally move out

My aunt is thrilled and wants to host a baby shower with my family, my mom wants to arrange to have my friends over, and they're all begging me to get a baby gift registry going, so I'm doing that tonight...

My boyfriend's mother is SO excited and wants to have a shower too haha so I sense there will be a bit of competition there.. but his mom & dad are also making an apartment for him at his place so we can save up some money before we move out.

And to think, in the beginning, my parents wanted me to get an abortion! See, things can work out.. so hang in there if you're having problems!

Awww thats so sweet of your family to do that!
I think its just the inicial shock that sort of causes a few problems for quite alot of people. Luckily my family have come around to everything to which is making the experience alot nicer
