My middle name is Lucie. I really like it and think it be cool as a daughter (if i have 1) first name.

However i know i was named after a family member, who i dont know. I only found out it was a family name last year at 23. I under no circumstances want any part of my 'family' attached to my daughter. Theyve caused me no great harm exept for being useless waste of spaces. They have nothing to do with my son. Mums meet him twice 2 years ago to one up my dad, then cut contact. Dads not met him through to his new gfs controlling ways

Would you use it as its your name and ignore the distant relative or would you just leave well alone.
