Fed Up With Winter Illnesses

So here I am both girls in bed with me one either side . Both barking and coughing like mad DD1 just got over a chest infection and DD2 croup . I’m pretty sure they both have the same illness again .

Every winter DD2 gets croup at least 2/3 times . I’m so sick of it now . Stresses me out !

I'm so sorry This time of year is a pain in the ass.
We're the same DS2 had croup, turned into a chest infection, needed a steroid and an antibiotic. 3 weeks in total to clear up. He's undiagnosed seasonal asthmatic, so has brown and blue inhalers too.
DD had the same but just got an antibiotic for the chest infection.
I'm pregnant with no.4 and had a cold for two weeks which then turned to sinusitis, I'll be glad to get over this winter.
Fingers crossed but DS1 is the only one unscathed so far xx

Not quite the same but for the last 3 years I e had a child with a stomach bug over Christmas and now ds3 has got over that big he has a full on cold. It spoils all our plans and just stops them enjoying what is meant to be such a nice time of year.

There seems to be a lot going round at the moment. My kids had two stomach bugs within a few weeks, and James had tonsillitis.

Oh no !! Seems everyone is having a rough time lately ! Hope your all feeling better soon maybe that’s a pretty lousy time you’ve had !

George it does totally ruin Christmas for them when they are ill such a shame !! Hope he better soon !

DD1 got given another course of antibiotics and DD2 was given a steroid. DD2 is really bad tonight keeps coughing and is really unsettled .

Another sleepless night for me ! x
