Hi all,

Our baby is about 10 months-old. She wakes up often at night. Our doctor said that babies' digestive system is totally shut down at nights. They wake up because of habits not for becoming hungry. If you breastfeed and/or give water, especially with bottle. This behavior will trigger digestive system and from then she can wake up regularly since she really becomes hungry. It creates an endless loop. We try not to breastfeed her during a night. But she did not sleep during that whole night. She became crazy, cried a lot. We don't know how to calm down her. Do you have any techniques to achieve this? It is really very hard to reject baby while she really wants to be fed.
