Does anyone have any experience of their baby only feeding at night. I have been surviving on 2-4 hours sleep and tonight I have totally lost it! I actually feel like I am going demented I am so tired. I cannot get Leo to feed in the day he wakes at 6/7am and doesnt actually feed until midday. I have tried everything including making up formula bottles. At night he feeds really well before bed and then tonight he woke at 8.30pm 10pm 2am 4am and 6am and fed every time. So it is as though he is having his 5/6 feeds but all at night. The only way I can think of to sort this is to not feed him say tonight or maybe only feeding him once at say 3am? But obviously if he has had hardly anything all day he will be screaming for milk all night. Any suggestions please I am desperate!!!:hissy::cry::sleep:

He's too young to go all night without a couple of feeds. Have you tried offering him the breast during the day? He's at the age now where he want's to look around so maybe go somewhere quiet to feed. Try going to bed for a wee lie down and just taking your top off, usually they can't resist temptation when it's right in their face and you might catch up on some sleep as well.

Almst 4 months old? He definately does not need to feed that much at night. It sounds like he has somehow flipped his days and nights.

Im not sure what to suggest because if he isn't hungry in the day, then you cant make him eat... and if he is hungry at night it would be hard to try and hold off... Which may be what you need to do... Offer a dummy or water instead and gradually try and space out the night feeds? I know this would be very hard and he will be hungry, but you dont know how long he could continue on like that.

Oh my, definitely sounds like his days and nights are mixed up. Don't know what to suggest but hope you find a solution. :hugs:

 Byron has just started noticing my boobs at a distance. Sometimes I pop him in the bouncy chair in the bathroom when I shower and I see him ogling me! lol I agree, try and actively encourage feeding during the day.

Oh, and could he be feeding at night to get himself back to sleep again?

We had this issue with Hannah but didn't do anything about it until the last few weeks. She'd eat two full bottles during the night and than not want to eat again until noon the next day. We stopped her cold turkey and she's eating more during the day now, but she is quite a lot older than your LO
