Wondering if it's time to see the doctor? I know colds are really common in babies, but I feel like she's had a cold since she was born...always sounds stuffed up and snotty, sneezes pretty much daily. We have a nasal aspirator and are needing to use it most days.

Other than that, she doesn't seem bothered by it. Is it worth taking her to my GP?

It's just the season, my 6mo old has been the same since he was about 8 weeks. It feels as soon as he's over one he's onto the next, I just do what I can to keep him comfy and hope the weather picks up soon!

I have a fairly stuffy baby. He has a few days where he sneezes and coughs a bit. I need to use a saline spray a couple times a week, usually in the middle of the night. He used to be a lot worse until I put his bed on an incline and started to use a humidifier.

I took him to our gp who said he has a virus, checked his ears and lungs for infection, and just gave me a sample of saline spray about a month ago.

I think if baby is happy, eating well and you don't hear any wheezing or rattling she is probably alright. It wouldn't hurt though to take her in if it would give you peace of mind though.

Maybe she's picking it up off her older sibling. My first didn't catch anything for over a year, but James seems to have a constant cold because my eldest brings home all sorts from nursery!

They are very snuffly early on. It usually isn't a cold, it's just congestion. If she has a fever most of the time, yes, something to be concerned about. If it's just congestion, no, it's normal. It's just everything getting up and running and getting used to their surroundings. You might try using a saline nasal spray. I found the nasal aspirator didn't do much.

My little boy seems like he has a cold when he has dairy, it was CMPA.
