As the title says, I feel a bit silly asking this because I'm sure baby is really well padded in there but at my dating scan on Friday the lady was so rough, she's left actual bruises on my tummy.

Baby wouldn't move into the best position so the sonographer quite literally dug the probe in, pushed it up and down and wobbled me around for 15 mins.

My tummy is still quite tender and a bit bruised but that won't hurt the baby right?!

I thought mine was quite rough, tech told me my bladder wasn't full enough (despite it feeling ready to burst) and she pushed on my section scar really hard, I found it painfully uncomfortable and kept tensing up. I felt bruised the day after too. I even said a few times it was quite painful but I she just kind of smiled at me with a look of deal with it. She just said "oh, okay".....the cow.

Ouch! I'd like to have seen her face if someone was pushing down on her section scar 😡

My dating scan was like this too as LO was hiding. They got all of the mrasurments they needed though and we actually got a really good view so I'm not sure why she had to be so rough to be honest.

At my gender scan the lady barely pressed at all, this was private though so I'm not sure if I will get the same treatment as above at my anomaly scan as it is at the same hospital as my first.

I suppose we will endure worse once the time of arrival comes! I hope your tummy heals soon.

I remember my dating scan being like this last time! They are brutal 😫

All of my ultrasounds have been a bit rough XD I feel like she is trying to stab me with the ultrasound probe sometimes. I have a tilted uterus and baby and be hard to see sometimes, I'm both very excited for my gender scan and very nervous if baby is not in the right position
