I am struggling abit, I am over the moon to be pregnant but I am struggling with the changes to my shape...I jsut feel like a barrel with huge boobs...

My boobs are huge..40G...and I'm struggling to find a comfy non wired bra...still searching....

I have put on a stone in 3 months..I am 12 weeks tomorrow.

I have always closely watched my weight and I just feel like where will it all end...I will be the size of a ship !

I am eating lots of fruit and no chips or choc or cake as I have gone off these things.

I dunno, I just feel huge today , losing some inner confidence :(

:hugs: I have days like that too, I love being pregnant, can't wait to be a mum but do struggle st times with how big I am looking, but only when I look in a full length mirror lol so I avoid that ha ha. I think it's because I have always been naturally slim. I put on a stone in my first 12 weeks now my weight gain has slowed down and I am mostly all bump!

Sending big hugs :hugs::hugs: your way. I have been feeling the same way myself!

Thank you, just made me feel better to know someone else put a stone on too ! ....Your post made me feel alot better anyway, thanks x

I really can't relate to this I'm afraid.

I've put on about 2 stones at least I reckon and I'm 28w3d - but I haven't weighed myself. I only last year managed to lose 5 stone too, but hey, it is what it is. My usual 38E boobs have grown to mass proportions, I'm at 40G too now.

To me, weight is not in the slightest bit important to me during my pregnancy, to me, it's inevitable I'm going to put weight on, but it's all worth it, because in 11 weeks time, I'm going to have our long awaited and wanted baby in my arms and after what we've been through to get here, I'd give anything for that.

I hope you can find a way to deal with how you're feeling, but don't put yourself or get yourself down about it, as it will most certainly be worth it

Funnily enough it didn't really help to know you didn't relate to my thread....and yeah, I am delighted to be pregnant, doesn't mean I am delighted to be getting fat , nothing delightful about that. Thnak you for the hug, I know you mean well xx

No need to be so nippy hon.

And you are not fat - you are pregnant, it kind of comes hand in hand with each other doesn't it? :dohh:

I was worried with my first. I gained 60 lbs in all. I would just look at food and put on a pound. I lost about 20 when I gave birth. The rest fell off about 5 months post partum. I was below my pre-pregnancy weight by 9 months post partum. I was breastfeeding and that helped a lot. I learned that I needed to really up my protein intake and that seemed to be key.

Try not to worry. If you are eating healthy, you will lose it once your baby is born. It may not happen right away, but if you stick to good eating habits you'll have no trouble. Just make sure to get enough protein.

I started with the protein in the beginning with my second and gained 40lbs. My weight loss was almost identical to my first. This time I'm having twins and they want me to gain a ton...

Good luck and try not to worry. Oh, and I love the bravado nursing bras. They are great during and after pregnancy.
