Hi there,

Sorry for everyone else's losses here. I miscarried at 6 weeks last September after getting pregnant 1st cycle ttc. Since then cycles varying 26-40 days. Very few positive opks. Wondering if it will ever happen now. I'm 34 so also feeling old!

34 isn't old! I understand your frustration though. Hang in there! Have you had any testing done? Might be the time to put those things in motion, just in case. You'll get there eventually. Hugs!

I'm so sorry pink :hugs:. I'm 34 in April, so I know how you feel. I started trying back in August, so around the same time as you too. It took us 6 cycles to conceive, but sadly that pregnancy ended in an MMC at 8 weeks in early February. So much of this is just chance. I know how long 6 months/cycles can seem, but in the grand scheme it's totally normal for it to take that long or more. Will this be your first or do you have children already?

That is quite a big range. Were you regular before? Have you considered temping since the opks aren't confirming O?

I am nearly marking the 6 month mark aswell. Cried for about 2 hours yesterday as I realised that next month I should have been bringing my baby home. It's so so tough. I'm terrified about how I'm going to feel after the due date...thinking I shouldn't be at work, I should be at home with my baby.

I'm terrible at looking to the future and always dwell on the past.

Have you been temping? I find temping so useful for confirming ovulation.

Thanks everyone for the responses! And thanks Amygdala for the reassurance I'm not old! Although 34 feels a bit old in the TV world.

So sorry to hear of your miscarriage lessondemavie - hope you are looking after yourself - first few weeks is really tough.

I have 1dd age 3 - conceived in 3 cycles and 2nd pregnancy conceived on first cycle so 6 month feels like ages, although I do realise it's not that long in the grand scheme of things. Cycles have been really odd since miscarriage, although I got my first decent positive opk today at cd16 (which is about right for me) so fingers crossed everything settling down now.

Lou - sorry to hear you're having a hard time - I'm not looking forward to due date either- especially as several other people due at the same time - not that I'm not happy for the. But difficult reminder.

I've never temped - hubby already things opks are taking things too far so I haven't. Might start next month. Can anyone recommend a good (free) fertility app? Using ovia at the moment but it can't seem to get fertile period right at all!

Lots of sticky baby dust to you all x

I use fertility friend and I love it. I've paid for the full version too. I used to use ovia but ditched it.

I use the unpaid version of fertility friend. You can still track bbt and opks on the same chart. I've seen others recommend glow as well.

So sorry for what your going though! I experienced a miscarriage in October and it took until January for my cycles to get back to normal, everyone is different. I use Ovia to track and it is pretty spot on. If you enter the most data you can it is pretty accurate. I temp and use OPK's so that helps it I think. It gets my fertile window and my period at the right times. Checking your temps does help a lot for ovulation and just knowing where you are in general in your cycle. You learn a lot about your body and your cycle from temping.

I'm on my 8th cycle now after my miscarriage. I got pregnant quickly with my son so now in having horrible fears that the D&C may have caused some damage.

I hope you don't have to wait much longer. The waiting seems extra cruel after having a miscarriage :(
