Feeling Discouraged; now 36 and obese TTC #1

Hey bumpers-

I just turned 36 last week (AF came on my bday-wasn't that nice of her) and have been TTC #1 for a few months now. I've probably been reading way too much about my chances for conceiving, which seem nonexistent being the dreaded over 35 with a BMI of 35. Anyone have any BFP stories in this similar situation? I could use some positive words right now. I need something to stop me from crying over my jealousy of Kate Middleton.

When I got my BFP with my son I was 37 (38 a week after he was born) with a BMI of 36. I had a perfectly healthy pregnancy and birth. It took us 4 cycles to fall pregnant.

We've just started TTC no. 2 (aged 40). Fingers crossed

Good luck, and don't give up hope there's lots of older women who have had perfectly healthy pregnancies even with higher BMIs.
