Feeling positive after lap! :)

Just wants to share how excited I'm feeling nearly a week after lap! It feels like a long journey where nobody would listen or believe anything was wrong.... Now my cyst has been removed, its all systems go... I hope!

Good Luck, I feel very positive after my Lap and my outcome is not so great, I have extensive scar tissue on my tubes and they are stuck to my uterus, but my ovaries escaped and are very healthy so we are moving onto IVF, so at least we have the answers we need and we can move on to our next step, Good Luck hope you get your BFP real soon x

i have my lap and dye on friday morning so glad i am getting it now after 2 long years of ttc hopefully i will find out what is wrong do they tell you what they have found straight after surgery to put ur mind at rest? i am very anxious but have been reading posts on this site and they have helped me by answerin some of my questions i cant believe i am getting my lap and dye!!!!!!

Tinkertailors, you really will be fine, I was petrified, but I was so well looked after I can only say my experience was a positive one.
Yes you will get your results the same day, my consultant came straight round after my surgery he was there literally as soon as I was back on the ward.
Good Luck I hope you have a good op with some good news, I know how you'll be feeling but really everything is going to be fine, you will be so happy and relieved it is over. If there is anything you need to know just ask, I am 3 days post op so it's still all fresh in my mind xx

thanks mrs howley i had mine today and you are completely right i am so glad i got it i feel really happy and not even sore only had a croaky voice and sore throat after op for a few hours and slight discomfort at times but nothing i cant handle and yes my consultant came nearly as soon as i woke up and told me i have 2 clear tubes and everything looks normal i am delighted i cant explain what a relief it is to hear that! after my hsg the test came back inconclusive as dye wouldnt go through my left tube so i assumed it was blocked twisted or diseased or something but its fine have to go back and see him in 6 weeks what do u think he will offer me now do u think he might give me clomid or something?

I am so glad everything went well for you and you had a brilliant outcome, I am sure they will try and give you some sort of help, but it is likely you will get referred to a FS x
